Anthony Aguayo – Multimedia Designer

Hello my name is Anthony, and I’ve been designing and developing in Northern California for the last eight years. I originally got my start in Graphic Design when I earned my Associates Degree from The Art Institute of Houston. I’ve designed many things since then (banners, posters, fliers, business cards, letterheads, logos, dvd & cd package art, apparel, and social media advertisements). After two years of designing I began noticing that employers were looking for designers with coding experience, so I enrolled into The Art Institute of Sacramento where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design and Interactive Media. Since then I have built over 500+ responsive websites for my former and current employer using various code formats (HTML5, CSS3, CSS LESS, jQuery, Flexbox, Foundation, and Bootstrap). A lot of times job recruiters will ask me do I prefer to code or design. Honestly I enjoy both equally, design allows me to be very creative, whereas development is more like a logical puzzle. In addition to my design and development skills, I like to edit media like audio or video, and create motion graphics in my spare time.
